SMS Terms of Service

Reputation Medics provides online reputation management services for businesses. Our SMS program may include consultation follow-up, appointment reminders, consultation scheduling, customer support communications, service status updates, account notifications, billing notifications, and, only where separately authorized, marketing or promotional messages about Reputation Medics services.

Marketing and promotional text messages may include information about reputation management services, review monitoring, review response support, consultation follow-up, service offers, and related promotions. Service-related text messages may include appointment reminders, consultation scheduling, customer support responses, account notices, billing notices, and updates about services you requested.

You may opt into SMS messages from Reputation Medics by manually checking an optional, unchecked SMS consent checkbox on a Reputation Medics website, landing page, contact form, scheduling form, quote request form, checkout form, or another Reputation Medics-controlled online form.

Where marketing or promotional messages are offered, the checkbox will state substantially the following:

“By checking this box, I agree to receive recurring marketing text messages from Reputation Medics at the mobile number provided, including messages about reputation management services, consultation follow-up, service offers, and related promotions. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. View our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.”

The checkbox is not preselected. You must manually check the box and submit the form to opt in. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase.

A phone conversation, direct inquiry, purchase, service request, or account creation by itself does not enroll you in recurring marketing text messages. Reputation Medics does not use purchased, rented, scraped, harvested, appended, or third-party lead lists for SMS messaging.

If a form offers both marketing/promotional text messages and non-marketing service messages, Reputation Medics will use separate consent options. Marketing text consent is separate from consent to receive appointment reminders, account notices, billing notices, service status updates, or customer support text messages.

Message frequency varies based on your interactions with Reputation Medics, the services you request, your account activity, and your communication preferences.

Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier and wireless plan. You are responsible for any charges imposed by your mobile carrier.

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from Reputation Medics at any time by replying STOP to any text message from us.

After you reply STOP, Reputation Medics may send one final confirmation message confirming that your opt-out request has been processed. After that confirmation, you will not receive additional SMS messages from us unless you opt in again.

Our messaging program is supported by most major U.S. wireless carriers. Carrier participation may vary.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, and SMS consent records will not be sold, rented, shared, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

All categories of information sharing described in our Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except as necessary for service providers acting solely on our behalf to provide SMS delivery, platform operations, security, compliance, or customer support services for Reputation Medics. Those service providers are not permitted to use SMS opt-in data or consent for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

You represent that you are at least 18 years old and that you are the authorized subscriber or customary user of the mobile phone number provided.

Reputation Medics may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued participation in the SMS program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated SMS Terms.
