§ Overview
Reputation Medics complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”). If you believe that material available on a Reputation Medics-controlled property infringes a copyright you own or control, you may submit a written takedown notice to our Designated Copyright Agent identified below.
Reputation Medics does not host, control, or operate third-party review sites, social networks, search engines, publishers, or other platforms where user content may appear. Requests to remove content from those platforms must be sent directly to the platform operator under the platform’s own procedures.

§ Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your written notice must include substantially the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list, if multiple works).
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to locate it (e.g., a direct URL on a Reputation Medics-controlled property).
- Your contact information, including full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
Incomplete notices may delay processing. Upon receipt of a valid notice, Reputation Medics will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the identified material from Reputation Medics-controlled properties and will take reasonable steps to notify the affected user or client where applicable.
§ Filing a Counter-Notice
If material you posted was removed or disabled and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3) that includes substantially the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location at which it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the U.S., the district in which Reputation Medics may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice or their agent.
After receiving a valid counter-notice, Reputation Medics may forward it to the original complainant and, subject to the DMCA’s timing requirements, may restore the removed material unless the complainant files an action seeking a court order against you.
§ Repeat Infringer Policy
Reputation Medics maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users, clients, or account holders who are determined to be repeat infringers of copyright or other intellectual property rights.
§ Misrepresentations
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for damages. Please consider consulting an attorney before submitting a notice or counter-notice.
§ Third-Party Platforms
Content that appears on third-party review sites, social networks, search results, news outlets, or other platforms is hosted and controlled by those platforms. Reputation Medics cannot remove third-party content on your behalf and does not accept DMCA notices for material we do not host. Copyright complaints about third-party platforms must be submitted through the platform’s own DMCA or intellectual-property process.
